Job Summary:
The Senior Residential Sales Manager position is responsible for establishing the sales targets to meet Temperature Systems Inc. objectives. Responsible for developing strategic sales plans based on TSI goals that will promote sales growth and customer satisfaction for the organization while meeting profitability objectives.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Builds develops and manages sales team capable of carrying out needed sales and service initiatives while meeting departmental profitability objectives.
Ensures communications are coordinated supports sales plan objectives and achieves organizational expenditure requirements in conjunction with the marketing manager.
Develop an operating budget for the sales division that meets business goals
Create and implement strategic sales and marketing plans that successfully achieve business objectives while monitoring the competition.
Use available data to accurately forecast sales and set appropriate performance goals
Develop and maintain positive relationships with key clients including negotiating and closing on major contracts
Interact with major equipment suppliers to review sales objectives and share of the market with an emphasis on Carrier Corporate products.
Assure that there is good communication between all sales groups design and technical services.
Open and willing to perform other duties as needed.
Represents TSI at trade association meetings customer promotions etc. to promote Company products and programs. Participate in dealer advisory councils.
Promotes and maintains positive dealer relations.
Education and Experience:
Experience in Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Sales with a preference with HVAC industry. Specifically proven track record in growing territory with knowledge to train the team on techniques for driving sales within distribution channels and building relationships with customers.
Previous experience in sales role with demonstrated ability to meet or exceed targets
Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to present strategy and results to staff and maintain a professional business image and relationships.
Demonstrated skill in negotiating and closing on critical sales contracts
Able to travel to all locations on a regular basis.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Strong interpersonal and persuasion skills
Excellent communication skills with written verbal and negotiation
Proficient PC/Microsoft/software skills including ability to build formulas in Excel
Able to maintain professional positive business relationships
Solid organizational and communication skills
Travel for job duties to oversee territories visiting dealers trade shows and other company sponsored events/functions as required.
Efficient in a fast-paced and demanding environment with close attention to details
