Join Our Team as Manager Regulatory Affairs

Reporting to the Director Quality Assurance you will be the onsite subject matter expert who will work cross-functionally across the Australian business to lead define develop and deliver regulatory and compliance programs to drive business performance.

About The Role

Combining both strategic and hands-on skills the successful candidate will play a critical role in developing and delivering our internal governance program and advising the business on regulatory and compliance matters in relation to food safety quality and trade and market access.

  • Oversee compliance with food regulations and associated regulations relevant to food safety quality assurance food labelling trade and market access for the Australian business.
  • Provide expert advice and interpretation of regulations and regulatory frameworks to ensure business compliance and commercial success.
  • Develop and administer a Governance Program around compliance with food regulations and customer requirements.
  • Act as an internal consultant to provide information and advice to the business on changes and developments to regulations and their impact on the business.
  • Support our two Australian sites in Melbourne and Sunshine Coast Qld.

About You

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience.

  • 5 years experience in a regulatory or compliance role in the food or pharmaceutical industry
  • A very high level of technical proficiency in understanding and interpreting food industry regulations
  • Knowledge of import/export requirements
  • Sound problem solving and analytical skills with strong attention to detail
  • The ability to build and maintain effective business relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
