The Boeing CompanyBoeing Defense Space and Security (BDS) is seeking an Associate Procurement Agent Air Proprietary 1 to join our Air Dominance Proprietary 1 Supply Chain team in Berkeley MO.
The successful candidate will be part of a high-performing cross-functional team focused on building next generation state-of-the-art capability while also working to integrate program customer and product strategies into the procurement process in an effort to drive successful execution of the Program.
The individual will support supply chain strategy development while working to understand the inter-relationships between subcomponents of systems and plans as well as their overall impact on the Supply Chain and Program. Collaboration with Engineering Finance and other Program personnel will be required to support strategic initiatives mitigate risk identify process improvements and engage in many other innovative activities in support of the Program.
Position Responsibilities:
- Integrates program customer product and in-service strategies into source selection negotiation and contracting strategies
- Negotiates pricing and contract terms and conditions
- Prepares and executes negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements
- Conducts risk issues and opportunities management
- Manages supply and demand schedules supplier quality delivery and financial performance
- Initiates and executes supplier improvement activities and integrates results into contracting strategies
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- More than 1 years of experience working directly with suppliers or supplier management.
- More than 1 years of experience drafting negotiating and executing complex contracts and subcontracts.
- More than 1 years of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelors degree or equivalent
- More than 1 years of experience in Supplier Management/ Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer
- More than 1 years of experience working on U.S. Department of Defense contracts
- Active US Secret Clearance

Up to 10%
