Job Description

Environmental Air Quality Engineer

Clean Air Engineering (CleanAir) is a leading global environmental engineering and consulting company that has been in business since 1972. CleanAir s Advanced Monitoring Services team located in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania has an immediate opening for a full-time entry-level Environmental Air Quality Engineer to support the growth of its ambient air monitoring services business. CleanAir is seeking a motivated Environmental Air Quality Engineer with this kind of mindset who wants to make a difference and help our clients achieve their environmental goals by applying cutting-edge measurement technologies. The candidate must hold a degree in Engineering Science or a Related Science field and will work closely with Project Managers to implement specific project tasks. The candidate will perform as a member of a multidisciplinary team of engineers and scientists in a flexible work environment.

The position will involve the following key responsibilities:

Aid in the installation and application of next-generation ambient air and fugitive emissions measurement systems or a network of systems
Data analysis interpretation and reporting
Participation in the development of new services
The candidate will work closely with Project Managers in implementing project tasks

Qualifications:

Bachelor s Degree in Engineering Science or Science-Related Field
0-3 years of experience
Mechanical aptitude and curiosity to tinker
Effective written and verbal skills
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Strong attention to detail
Willingness to travel to project locations in the US and globally
