THE POSITION
Are you looking for a career where you get to spend your day outsideperforming semi-skilled work The Pennsylvania Game Commission is seeking an experienced and dependable Game Lands Maintenance Worker 1 for the State Game Lands in Clarion County. Join us in our missionto manage and protect wildlife and their habitats while promoting hunting and trapping for current and future generations. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Game Lands Maintenance Worker 1 you will perform semi-skilled duties and assist with various tasks such as the maintenance repair and construction of bridges roads parking areas gates posting signs ranges and more. This position assistswith equipment maintenance signage and surveying new game land tracts.You will also assist with a multitude of habitat management tasks and complete mowing duties to include border cuts and access trail maintenance for outdoor recreationalists. Additional duties may include nursery production through the securing of seeds andthe pruning and releasing of fruit and nut trees shrubs and vines for wildlife food enhancement.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment 40 hours/week.
- Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM Monday - Friday with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework:You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary:In some cases the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of laboring experience using construction tools and equipment; or
- One year of farming experience using agricultural tools and equipment; or
- One year of construction equipment operation experience;or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Special Requirements:
- This position requires possession of an active Pennsylvania non-commercial Class C drivers license or equivalent.
- This position requires the selected candidate to obtain an active Class A Commercial Drivers License within one year of employment in this job.

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
