The primary mission of the Regional Director of Operations is to provide strategic multi-unit leadership that drives operational excellence guest and team satisfaction and ownership engagement.

In this role you will directly support and guide General Managers and their hotel teams across a portfolio of properties ensuring alignment with Springboards standards performance goals and brand values. You will act as a liaison between property leadership and corporate teams to implement initiatives resolve challenges and foster a culture of accountability and growth.

SCOPE OF WORK TEAM

  • Reports to the President
  • Oversees a portfolio of hotels within the Hawaii region
  • Part of the Hawaii Corporate Team

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee all financial aspects of hotel operations including P&L CapEx planning forecasting and budgeting.
  • Ensure operational excellence and compliance with Springboard and brand standards across all properties.
  • Provide leadership mentorship and guidance to General Managers and management teams.
  • Partner with corporate disciplines to align and implement cross-functional strategies.
  • Analyze performance data and ensure properties meet or exceed key performance indicators.
  • Serve as the brand culture ambassador developing team leaders who embody Springboards values.
  • Evaluate and support property-level execution of sales marketing and service strategies.
  • Assist in developing and enforcing operational policies procedures and best practices.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and innovation across the hotel portfolio.
  • Travel regularly to visit hotel properties and provide on-site support as needed.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Prior Experience:

  • Minimum of 10 years in the hotel industry
  • General Manager experience required
  • Multi-unit leadership experience strongly preferred
  • Sales and financial oversight experience preferred

Leadership & Subject Expertise:

  • Strong leadership coaching and team development skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Proven ability to manage remote teams and drive results
  • Deep understanding of hospitality operations service standards and performance drivers

Other Expectations:

  • Must be available to travel frequently including overnight stays
  • Must have the ability to work across multiple time zones and adjust to varying property needs
  • Expected to maintain a high degree of professionalism and flexibility in a fast-paced environment
