The Senior Lead Body Engineer function is intended to provide Design Development and Release leadership for Body components assemblies and systems. The Senior Lead body Engineer will provide technical leadership industry knowledge and insights to lead the design and development of assigned body structure systems from component through to major assemblies (i.e. Underbody Upper body) through the life of vehicle design and development cycle from concept through launch. The position will provide leadership to body engineering employees or contractors. The role requires close collaboration with manufacturing engineering program management purchasing production quality and suppliers to ensure robust designs are released that meet product performance cost and timing goals.
This position is open to candidates located in Oshkosh Wisconsin or the Detroit Michigan metropolitan area.

Pay Range:
$91800.00 - $153200.00The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range individual pay is determined by various factors including the scope and responsibilities of the role the candidates experience education and skills as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
