HCBS Compliance Officer
REMOTE / HYBRID
120-150K
Position Overview:
A rapidly growing behavioral health organization is seeking an experienced HCBS Compliance Lead to take charge of enforcing existing compliance protocols and ensuring ongoing regulatory adherence. The ideal candidate will ensure documentation is consistently accurate and audit-ready while providing corrective feedback to providers when necessary.
The Ideal Candidate:
Deep expertise in HCBS and CFTSS compliance and documentation
Exceptionally detail-oriented notices small errors others miss
Strong-willed and confident communicator who can enforce rules professionally
Experienced with Medicaid insurance processes and billing standards
Collaborative responsible and able to work independently in a remote setting
Key Responsibilities:
Audit provider documentation and service notes for HCBS compliance
Train and retrain providers on established documentation procedures
Monitor adherence to protocols already in place and escalate noncompliance
Serve as the primary contact for DOH and OMH audits and inquiries
Collaborate with leadership to ensure continued program compliance
Provide regular reports and updates on compliance status
