The Multnomah County Health Department is currently hiring a part-time Office Assistant 2 to support the Health Center Quality team. This position includes healthcare benefits such as medical vision and dental coverage a free TriMet bus pass and more.
In this role you will provide critical administrative support that helps improve the quality of care across our health centers. You will coordinate and track client complaints manage our quality management software prepare reports and collaborate with both internal teams and external partners. You will also use your good judgment and organizational skills to help identify areas where we can improve services.

As the Health Center Quality Office Assistant you will:
Manage and track patient complaints from phone calls emails surveys and other sources.
Coordinate timely responses from clinic leadership and ensure resolution and communication are handled with care and accuracy.
Use RLDatix software to monitor quality and safety data working with our Business Intelligence team to create reports and identify trends.
Help support quality improvement initiatives by organizing data preparing presentations and staying informed on key changes that impact how we serve the public.
Serve as a backup to the Project Manager for our quality software platform including user access and system questions.
Partner with the Project Manager to become a go-to expert on the RLDatix system providing support and training to clinic staff.

Minimum Qualifications/Transferable Skills:
Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade.
Two (2) years of general office support or customer service experience dealing directly with the public.
Preferred Qualifications/ Transferable Skills: You do not need to have the following preferred qualifications/ transferable skills to qualify. However keep in mind we may consider some or all of the following when identifying the most qualified candidates. Please clearly explain on your application how you meet any of the following preferred qualifications/transferable skills.
Experience providing professional customer service to diverse communities.
Training or experience working with data entry databases or Electronic Health Records Systems such as EPIC.
Previous experience working in a medical or health related environment.
Exceptional communication skills.

Schedule: Anticipated schedule is Monday - Friday 8am - 2pm. Work schedule is flexible/can be a point of negotiation and will be determined by the hiring manager. Routine Telework is available however the incumbent must reside in Oregon or Washington to be eligible for telework.
