The Communications Coordinator assists with forming a community of Spirit-filled missionary disciples by providing clear and timely communications to the members of the parish. This person directs these efforts with technical expertise utilizing a variety of communications tools within a framework of shared ministry. Principal Responsibilities: - Develop parish wide communication and branding strategy for daily use and special projects in electronic and print publications.
- Primary communication responsibilities include Mass announcements bulletins website and parish email communications.
- Work with colleagues to elicit ideas for content and collaborate with the ministry directors on the ongoing development and execution of social media and marketing strategies.
- In collaboration with staff and ministry leaders proactively produce communications to key audiences.
- Work collaboratively with Pastor staff and ministry directors to keep content up to date fresh and a tool for evangelization.
- Post and monitor appropriate social media platforms including but not limited to: Facebook Instagram Google and YouTube.
- Implement daily posting schedules and ensure adherence to media communication guidelines protocol and procedures.
- Work with the Office Manager and Pastor to standardize processes for responding to inquiries complaints and other interactions.
- Upon request help develop flyers PowerPoint presentations and other media for staff and ministries.
- Be a Spirit-filled disciple of Jesus Christ.

- Must be familiar with and agree with the basic principles of parish renewal outlined in Divine Renovation: Bringing Your Parish from Maintenance to Mission by Fr. James Mallon.
- Be a team player who is approachable affable and winsome.
- Be proficient in Google Office Suite functions Microsoft Publisher and Microsoft Office.
- Be proficient in InDesign and Photoshop
- Pass a background check and attend local training for the protection of children and youth.
- Employees are expected to work onsite and offsite when needed. Some weekend and evening work will be required.
- Physical demands include walking standing sitting stooping and occasionally lifting boxes or bags that weigh up to 40 pounds.
