What does a great Software Developer do at Fiserv

As a Software Developer at Fiserv you will be an integral part of our dynamic development team focusing on creating custom add-ons for our core banking software (DNA) and facilitating integrations for seamless client experiences. Your role will involve direct client interaction collaborative work with the development team and playing a key role in delivering high-quality software solutions.

What you will do:

• Develop and document software based on client requirements
• Assist in creating software development proposals and estimates for client requests
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality software that meets client expectations
• Collaborate with clients developers and business analysts for accurate project delivery
• Research and resolve software defects reported by clients
• Coordinate project completion with various departments
• Undertake additional projects as assigned

What You Will Need To Have:

• Bachelors degree in a software development field of study or equivalent relevant experience
• End-to-end experience across the software development lifecycle
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a project team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with PL SQL C#.NET and Oracle SQR for software development
• Proficiency in real-time integration techniques such as Web Services / APIs
• Knowledge and experience with XML
• Familiarity with Graphical User Interface design principles including Cards Based (UX) interfaces
• Expertise in performance optimization diagnosis and techniques
• Experience with retail banking processes for Community Banks and Credit Unions
