Tietoevry Create is looking for a Network Engineer with a DevOps mindset to join one of our Telecom customer projects.
The project focuses on building various infrastructures within a high-grade data center. Each infrastructure is configured and used to test and validate different solutions and components. The setup emphasizes automation to minimize errors and enhance reusability of configurations.
When joining as a Networking Engineer:
- You will be responsible for performing network operations and implementation tasks
- You will work with modern technologies and methodologies
- You will be part of a team of experienced and senior professionals working in close collaboration and continuously sharing knowledge and expertise
We are looking for someone with:
- Knowledge and hands-on experience in telecom operations
- Practical experience with traditional networking products (Cisco Juniper Extreme)
- Strong hands-on knowledge of Layer 2 networking and protocols
- Strong hands-on knowledge of Layer 3 networking and protocols
- Solid understanding of networking concepts including switching routing and firewalls
- Understanding of modern cloud technologies (e.g. OpenShift Kubernetes VMware)
- Familiarity with Software-Defined Networking (SDN)
- Competence in working with Linux environments
- Good communication skills and fluency in English
