This is an exciting opportunity to join our team at CSA Group. An experiencesEngineer (m/f/d) is required to join our team to work on compliance certification of hazardous location (HAZLOC) equipment. This role will be based in our facility in Arnhem The Netherlands.
As a Product Safety Engineer (m/f/d) in the hazardous location (HAZLOC)/explosion protection team you will work on a variety of projects and provide high quality certification service to meet the clients needs. Youll have the ability to interpret standards follow processes and procedures as well as provide technical guidance to our clients and peers.
You should have experience in this area and be familiar with applicable standards like IEC 60079 series the IECEx Scheme the ATEX Directive and ideally the North American certification process. CSA Group will train you in new protection concepts and support you in shaping your professional career. You will have the opportunity to work with clients from across the globe to assist in certifying their products where you will review prototypes and samples drawings schematics and reports to ensure complete safety compliance to IEC/EN and North American Standards.
Successful applicants will be customer-focused and have a background in manufacturing process or compliance addition good communication change management problem solving and project management skills are essential.
