Job Description

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree
  • Two (2) years of related experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enters maintains and updates employee personnel information in College database for full-time part-time and student employees. Maintains data integrity in systems by analyzing data and performing mass updates when necessary. Manages all activities related to proper personnel file maintenance public records requests and catalog maintenance while maintaining confidentiality efficiency in compliance with state retention requirements and effective workflow. Organizes and maintains DSC employment records including receiving and documenting transcripts and making file copies.
  • Enters maintains and updates personnel data/information in computer database as it relates to faculty credentialing. Assists Academic Affairs department by uploading credentialing information for all DSC faculty to satisfy accreditation requirements.
  • Serves as liaison for information distribution to the College community and to outside sources. Routes and tracks HR paperwork and other employment forms including separation documentation.
  • Creates updates and generates forms for the HR Department. Ensures necessary documents are scanned for record retention.

Knowledge Skills & Abilities:

  • Ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously and organize work priorities.
  • Excellent organizational skills interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner.
  • Knowledge of computers peripherals and software programs such as Microsoft Suite.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and be flexible to meet the demands of the College.
  • Take direction as well as work effectively and professionally on their own.
