This is a high-impact strategic role reporting directly to the CIO and Head of Group IT and a key member of the Group IT management team.

About the Role
As Head of HR for Sandvik Group IT you lead the full HR spectrum from talent acquisition and development to employee relations wellness and organizational design. By translating global HR strategy into local execution you ensure alignment with business goals and compliance with regional legislation. You champion transformation and inclusion embedding a high-performance culture that values diversity and psychological safety. Overseeing the SHEQ function and ensuring that safety health environment and quality are integral to our operations is an important part of your mission.
You advise senior leaders manage a team of HR professionals and drive data-informed future-ready people practices. To support our organization and prepare for the impact of emerging technologies you support workforce planning and succession management.
The location for this position is either in Sandviken or Stockholm and some travel is included in your job. We offer a hybrid work solution.
Who you are
You hold a degree in Human Resources Management or a related field and have solid HR experience including several years in a senior leadership role. Youve succeeded in complex matrixed environments ideally within mining manufacturing or industrial sectors and have strong knowledge of Swedish labor law transformation frameworks and strategic HR practices. Acting in a truly global environment calls for proficiency in English.
You combine a long-term strategic view with an operational and flexible mindset to ensure customer satisfaction and organizational agility. Collaboration is at the core of your character and your structured enduring and genuine ways are a winning combination as you interact frequently and build trust among stakeholders across the an inspiring manner and your leadership style is based on transparency coaching and giving the freedom to the same time youreclear with your expectations and build a team culture that isinclusivesets ambitious targets and aims for great results.
