About the Role
The Marketing Strategist will play a key role in advancing the mission of the Institute for Advanced Learning and Research (IALR) by leading the development and execution of strategic integrated marketing initiatives. This role will support IALRs economic transformation goals by enhancing brand visibility expanding outreach and driving engagement through innovative marketing strategies. The Marketing Strategist will collaborate across departments and divisions to ensure alignment with organizational priorities while also providing leadership on campaign performance analytics and continuous improvement.

We are looking for staff to work onsite in Danville VA.
The Ideal Candidate
Bachelors degree in Marketing Communications Business or a related field required.
At least three years of experience in marketing strategy campaign management or
related roles.
Experience working with cross-functional teams and in fast-paced
environments preferred.
Strong verbal written and visual communication skills.
Advanced understanding of marketing methods including analytics and SEO/SEM.
Proficiency in marketing platforms and tools (e.g. website CMS social media Google Analytics CRM marketing platform email marketing).
Excellent project management organizational and multitasking abilities.
Strong interpersonal skills with a team-oriented collaborative mindset.
Familiarity with graphic design software (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite Canva) is preferred.
Working knowledge of photography and videography is preferred.
Essential Physical Requirements:
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing.
Ability to work under pressure manage interruptions and meet tight deadlines.
Ability to operate standard office equipment including computers and keyboards.
Ability to travel between buildings and occasional off-site travel as needed.
Light physical activity may be required.
Salary & Benefits
IALR will offer a salary of $55000- $65000 plus applicable shift differential.
