About the Role
We are currently seeking enthusiastic and motivated doctors to join our team as Unaccredited General Surgical Registrars in 2026. This is an exceptional opportunity for aspiring surgeons to gain broad exposure to all aspects of surgical care while developing the skills and experience necessary for competitive entry into RACS SET and other Accredited Training Programs.

A rich and varied clinical caseload across general and sub-specialty surgery
Direct mentorship from surgical consultants fellows and accredited registrars
Involvement in teaching audit and research opportunities
A strong culture of teamwork supervision and leadership development
Working closely with multidisciplinary teams to manage inpatient and perioperative care
Taking part in the supervision and support of Junior Medical Officers
Participating in unit coordination clinical handovers and surgical education sessions

Classifications for this position will range from HM25 - HM30 ($129048.40 - $177622.12 pro rata per annum) salary sacrifice and excluding super
Your Contribution
Full working rights in Australia
Hold current AHPRA registration
MBBS or equivalent
Hold a current or willing to undergo a satisfactory National Police Check
Have a commitment to deliver the best in patient care and safety
Demonstrated experience applying medical knowledge towards sound clinical diagnosis investigation and treatment of patients
Demonstrated effective communication with patients relatives staff and colleagues
