Job Description

The Uxbridge Public Schools seeks an enthusiastic first grade teacher position at Taft Early Learning Center. This position involves teaching all core academic subjects (English Language Arts Mathematics Science and Social Studies) while maintaining a supportive classroom environment that promotes student growth and responsibilities include: Planning and implementing engaging lessons aligned with Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks and district initiativesDifferentiating instruction to meet diverse learning needs and abilitiesAssessing student progress through formal and informal measuresMaintaining accurate records of student performance and behaviorCollaborating with grade-level colleagues and specialistsCommunicating regularly with families about student progressManaging classroom behavior using positive behavioral supportsParticipating in faculty meetings and professional developmentCreating a safe and welcoming classroom environment
