Job Description
Job Title: and nbsp;Interventional Rad Tech - Diagnostic and nbsp;
Shift: and nbsp;8:00 AM-4:00 PM EST Weekends required
Location: and nbsp;Jacobi Medical Center
and nbsp; and nbsp; and nbsp;1400 Pelham Parkway South
and nbsp; and nbsp; and nbsp;Bronx NY 10461
Length of assignment: and nbsp;13-week initial assignment each extension if granted is 8-week increments at a time
Experience: and nbsp;Minimum 1 year of experience using angiographic equipment balloon angioplasty and stenting.
Certification: and nbsp; and nbsp; and nbsp;
- Valid license as a radiologic technologist issued by NYSDOH. (manager willing to accept out of state license if candidate is willing to obtain NY license after offer)
- BLS certification issued by AHA
- Advanced-Level Certification (only need 1 from ARRT to include one of the following:
- -ARRT (CI) - Cardiac Interventional Radiology.
- -ARRT (CV) - Cardiovascular Interventional Radiology.
- -ARRT (VI) - Vascular Interventional Radiology
Job Description: and nbsp;An interventional radiology technologist will assist interventional radiologists with minimally invasive image-guided procedures that use instruments to treat conditions in the body. They are responsible for operating and maintaining specialized imaging equipment administering contrast dyes and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure.
Required Vaccines: Varicella TDAP MMR HEP B
Miscellaneous/Additional Requirements: and nbsp;Prefers to have someone who has knowledge in Computed Tomography
