What youll do:

Position Title: SAPiXp Intern AI Tech Researcher

Location: So Paulo SP Brazil

In this role youll

• Extending our deep tech research capacity through evaluating technologies like LLMs GenAI multimodal AI infrastructure optimization and emerging frameworks.
• Supporting SIJ expansion by researching and engaging startups to uncover innovative approaches and collaboration opportunities.
• Providing structured insights and recommendations by synthesizing research into reports frameworks and presentations that directly feed into incubation decision-making.
• Building ecosystem visibility by attending startup showcases connecting with founders and mapping trends in the region.
• Contributing to internal prototypes and experiments by translating research into practical insights or small-scale proofs of concept.
• Research and evaluate deep tech areas in AI/ML (e.g. architectures models infrastructure innovations).
• Scout and analyze startups as part of SIJ; assess their technical differentiators and market relevance.
• Prepare briefing notes trend maps and short reports for stakeholders and leadership.
• Network with startup founders accelerators and VCs helping represent SAPs innovation lens.
• Support incubation projects by contributing research prototyping or workshop preparation.
• Participate in team discussions retros and global knowledge-sharing forums.
• Hands-on exposure at the intersection of AI research and startup innovation.
• The opportunity to influence SAPs incubation strategy with your findings.
• Experience in how large enterprises engage with startups and bring emerging tech into production.

Who you are

We are looking for an iXp Intern AI Tech Researcher to help us explore cutting-edge AI technologies and strengthen SAPs Startup Innovation Journey (SIJ) program. You will be directly contributing to technology evaluation startup scouting and early incubation activities that shape how SAP scales AI internally and externally.

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science Data Science Engineering or Technology related.
• Curious and analytical with the ability to dig into technical details while connecting them to business impact.
• Strong interest in AI startups and innovation ecosystems.
• Skilled in research synthesis and communicating findings clearly.
• Comfortable working across cultures time zones and in a fast-moving environment.
