Job Description
Job Title:Janitorial/Custodial Maintenance
Job Type:Temp to Hire
Location:Tulsa OK
Pay:$15/hour
Shift:MondayFriday 5:00 AM 1:00 PM
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Janitorial/Custodial Maintenance professional to join our clients team in Tulsa. This role is essential in maintaining a clean safe and well-functioning facility. The ideal candidate will have prior janitorial or maintenance experience and a strong work ethic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize restrooms classrooms offices and common areas
- Sweep mop vacuum and polish floors; perform carpet cleaning as needed
- Wash windows walls and surfaces throughout the facility
- Empty trash receptacles and ensure proper waste disposal
- Replenish supplies (soap paper towels toilet paper etc.
- Perform minor repairs (plumbing electrical and carpentry)
- Replace light bulbs unclog drains and fix basic plumbing issues
- Conduct routine inspections and address maintenance concerns promptly
- Set up and take down tables chairs and equipment for events
- Ensure all areas are prepared and cleaned before and after events
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Previous janitorial and/or maintenance experience required
- Familiarity with cleaning procedures and maintenance best practices
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment and basic hand tools
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Physically capable of lifting bending and standing for long periods
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
