Job and Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for an outstanding candidate who embodies our operating principles to join our surgery team. Experience with juggling multiple tasks at once is a must as our surgery coordinator you will be responsible for:

• Tracking pathology results with accuracy
• Communicating benign and malignant results with compassion
• Coordination of treatment across all of our offices
• Verifying insurance benefits and communicating cost information with patients
• Must be willing to work as part of a successful team
• Minimum typing speed of 50 wpm

• A four-year degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent experience with multi-provider scheduling is required
• Proven track record of working well on teams and delivering excellence
• Excellent verbal and written skills required. Customer service experience a plus

Schedule:

This is a part-time position within business hours Monday to Friday. We work across multiple offices (Colorado Springs Canon City Castle Rock Parker Pueblo and Woodland Park). This position is based out of the Colorado Springs HQ location and our Briargate office.

Reviews:

Vanguard Skin Specialists believes in providing regular feedback and encouraging professional development. Your first informal review will be approximately 90 days from your date of hire after that you will be included in the next of our upcoming semi-annual spring or fall review cycles for your formal reviews. This will be your first compensation review and thereafter your compensation reviews will occur in that cycle (fall or spring) annually.

The practice promotes from within which provides opportunity for growth and advancement.

Compensation & Benefits:

Pay range is $20-$23 per hour depending on experience with eligibility for overtime and paid time off. The practice covers a portion of the premium for medical benefits and also offers

Physical Working Conditions:

• Must be able to sit stand and/or walk for up to 10 hours
• Must be able to lift up to 25-50 pounds
• Operate a computer and other office machinery such as a calculator printer copier scanner or fax
• Be able to communicate accurately effectively and frequently
• Can identify color on the computer and software used
