Job Description
A large and fast-growing healthcare company is seeking a strategic and experienced Director of Acquisitions to lead all efforts related to purchasing and leasing commercial real estate properties for its expanding healthcare operations. This high-level role requires a deep understanding of real estate transactions strong negotiation skills and the ability to evaluate locations for long-term value and operational fit.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable navigating complex deals managing broker relationships and traveling extensively throughout the United States to scout and secure ideal spaces.
Responsibilities Include:
Identify evaluate and secure commercial real estate opportunities for healthcare facilities.
Lead lease negotiations and purchase agreements in coordination with legal and executive teams.
Conduct market research and site visits to assess suitability zoning cost and long-term value.
Collaborate with internal departments (clinical operations finance) to ensure alignment of real estate strategy with business needs.
Maintain relationships with brokers landlords and developers across key markets.
Oversee due diligence including environmental assessments financial analysis and feasibility studies.
Track project progress from deal negotiation through to closing or lease execution.
Travel frequently to visit potential sites and support real estate initiatives across the country.
Ideal Qualifications:
Proven experience in commercial real estate acquisitions or leasing.
Strong understanding of real estate finance contract negotiation and property due diligence.
Ability to evaluate properties from both a financial and operational perspective.
Willingness and ability to travel regularly throughout the United States.
Excellent interpersonal negotiation and project management skills.
Experience in healthcare or medical facility acquisition is a strong plus.
