Who are we looking for
Were looking for a Project Director - Building Structures to join our Buildings Engineering & Maritime team in Brisbane. This technical leadership role focuses on building and strengthening GHDs market share in the Region helping to develop a pipeline of work in line with the groups business plan overseeing and delivering projects to the satisfaction of our clients and showing technical leadership across the Region and beyond.

Working with an energetic and high-performing team this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:
- Leading the development and submission of proposals for large multidisciplinary complex building projects.
- Providing technical leadership across the Service Line Region Business Group with an emphasis on growing GHDs capabilities and expertise.
- Driving the delivery of Building projects and leading multidisciplinary teams with the development of innovative solutions to solve client challenges.
- Building GHDs market presence through pursuit of strategic opportunities and thought leadership in industry forums.
What you will bring to the team:
- Experience in the technical leadership and management of Property and Buildings projects with over20 years experience.
- Bachelors degree (or higher) in Structural Engineering Relevant Registration/ Chartership (RPEQ/CPEng).
- Extensive knowledge of relevant standards and industry best practices familiarity with international design standards.
- Experience with identifying/pursuing major opportunities
- Demonstrated experience with building/maintaining relationships with Government Private and Contractor clients to drive growth.
- Proven ability to lead/direct multidisciplinary teams in delivering large projects.
