Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in designing developing and executing end-to-end test suites and API testing to ensure the reliability and performance of our applications. The role requires expertise in automated testing frameworks scripting and working closely with development teams to build robust test solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Design develop and maintain automated end-to-end test suites to validate complex workflows.
Implement and execute API tests to ensure reliability performance and security of backend services.
Collaborate with software developers product managers and QA engineers to create comprehensive test strategies.
Develop and enhance test automation frameworks
Identify document and track defects while working closely with development teams to resolve them.
Perform performance and load testing of APIs and critical system components.
Stay up to date with emerging test automation tools frameworks and best practices.
Required Qualifications:
3 years of experience in test automation and software testing.
Strong expertise in writing end-to-end test suites for web and mobile applications.
Hands-on experience with API testing tools such as Postman RestAssured or Karate.
Proficiency in JavaScript programming language.
Experience with test automation frameworks (TypeScript/Jest/fast-check test suites).
Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins GitHub Actions or GitLab CI/CD.
Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies debugging and troubleshooting.
Experience in working with databases and writing SQL queries for validation.
Experience with and JavaScript-related unit testing frameworks such as Jest Mocha or Jasmine.
