Job Description
Position: SDET Architect with Mainframe
Location: Wilmington DE
Duration: Contract
Mandatory Skills: Java Automation Selenium CucumberMainframe
- Bachelors degree in computer science Engineering or related field.
- 10 years of experience in automation testing with a strong background in Java.
- 6 years of experience using SDET with Java and Selenium or TOSCA
- Solid understanding of test-driven development (TDD) BDD and Agile methodologies.
- Experience in API testing using tools like Rest Assured Postman or Karate.
- Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
- Experience with build tools like Maven or Gradle.
- Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS Azure or GCP) is a plus.
Description
- Design develop and maintain scalable test automation frameworks and Automation background is must get SDET with Java and Selenium or TOSCA will be decided later.
- Cards functional knowledge is important.
- Need to understand UAT test cases execute them manually and then automate.
- Selenium or Tosca knowledge and Java is a must.
- Create readable maintainable and reusable test scripts aligned with acceptance criteria.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins GitLab CI or similar.
- Perform code reviews and mentor junior QA automation engineers.
- Collaborate with developers product managers and DevOps to identify test scenarios early in the development cycle.
- Conduct root cause analysis on test failures and raise relevant defects with sufficient documentation.
- Define and track quality metrics test coverage and automation progress.
- Stay current with industry trends and advocate for continuous improvement in automation processes.
