Job Description

What Youll Do:
- Build scalable test automation processes to maximize creativity collaboration & efficiency
- Build manage maintain and monitor the automated testing suite
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand the requirements and turn them into test plans
- Interpret and report test results and be a vocal proponent for quality in every phase of the development process
- Document and track resolutions for software defects identified in the testing process using approved tools and processes
- Attend standup meetings test plans and business requirements walkthroughs
- Lead code reviews as well as drive architecture and technical design discussions
- Mentor and coach junior engineers looking for growth opportunities and leading by example
What You Have:
- Bachelors degree in a Computer Science or related discipline
- 3 years of experience in testing web-based or SaaS applications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical thinking skills.
- Experience in the software development lifecycle focusing on software quality
- Highly motivated resilient and a tenacious passion for winning
- Strong hand-on experience in TypeScript
- Strong hands-on experience with e2e & component testing
- Strong experience in REST API testing using tools such as Postman or equivalent
- Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools such as Github Actions or equivalent.
- Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber is highly preferred
- Experience with a SaaS fintech startup
- Preferred Mortgage capital markets experience highly

- Recruiting Screen - 30 minute 1:1 with a Polly Talent Team Member
- Initial Team Round - 30 minute 1:1 with Pollys Director QA
- Assessment - Live Assessment
- Post Assessment Rounds 3- 30 to 45 minute Peer Cross Functional Team Members and Executive Rounds
