Job Description
Our client a well-established retail business with multiple sites across Ireland is seeking a strategic and commercially minded Head of Finance to join their senior leadership team.
This is a critical role for the business providing financial leadership strategic insight and operational oversight to support continued national growth.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the companys overall financial strategy planning and risk management

Oversee financial operations across all retail locations ensuring accurate reporting and regulatory compliance

Manage the finance team and work closely with senior executives to drive performance and profitability

Provide detailed financial analysis and forecasting to support strategic decision-making

Liaise with external stakeholders including banks auditors and advisors
-
Support commercial teams on budgeting pricing strategies and investment plans

Drive improvements in financial systems controls and reporting structures
The Ideal Candidate:
-
Proven experience as a Head of Finance or Finance Director ideally within the retail FMCG or multi-site operational sector

ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified (or equivalent)

Strong understanding of retail operations commercial finance and cashflow management
-
Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills
-
Ability to work on-site in Wexford with some travel to retail locations as required
