Job Description
Job Title Technical Operations Specialist
Location STE10 Data Centre Stevenage
Our purpose is to make the world more sustainable by building trust in society through innovation. As aTechnical Operations Specialist you will contribute to this byproviding first line Data Centre support for a range of internal private and public sector customers to help ensure services remain operational and that incidents are managed promptly within a defined process. You will also work closely with other Data Centre teams and Fujitsu Business units to pro-actively safeguard customer services maintain Data Centre installation standards and the upkeep of configuration management toolsets.
This role is shift based working 12hr 24x7 shifts working on a rotational basis.
Your transferable skills and experience:
- Good communication skills and to be able to communicate effectively through online toolsets
- Knowledge of Data Centre Infrastructure
- Experience within a process driven environment
- Have an eye for continuous improvement to help enhance Fujitsus Data Centre offering
- Pro-active in your approach to work
