About the Role

The position will be the key Finance Lead for all Aegis Health Services working with and alongside the Aegis Health Executive team to maximise revenue initiatives identify cost efficiency opportunities and to inform both service focused and integrated hospital reporting KPI and performance analytics

Role Objectives

Working with Directors Clinical Services and operations staff to enable their focus on patient services doctor engagement quality and safety.

Requirements of the Role

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

  • Over 5 years of experience as a CPA or CA.
  • Proven background as a management accountant in a private hospital setting with strong knowledge of hospital data and analytics.
  • Skilled in stakeholder engagement including with Private Health Insurance Funds and other funders.
  • Extensive experience in financial modelling cost analysis and quantitative data processing.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking in high-paced dynamic environments.
  • Demonstrated expertise in budgeting forecasting and performance reporting.
  • In-depth understanding of healthcare industry trends and challenges particularly in mental health surgical and outpatient care.
  • Familiarity with hospital regulations and their financial implications.
  • Proficient in developing and analysing business cases for capital investments and service expansions.
