Job Description


we required Painting Incharge for our new Radiator manufacturing plant
Location: Ganaptapura Taluka : Karjan
Job Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the Painting Process:
  • Supervise the entire painting process of radiators and associated parts.
  • Ensure that all painting operations are carried out efficiently and meet quality standards.
  • Manage painting schedules to meet production targets and deadlines.
  • Team Management:
  • Lead a team of painters and operators responsible for painting operations.
  • Provide training guidance and supervision to team members.
  • Monitor performance and ensure adherence to safety and quality protocols.
  • Quality Control:
  • Ensure that the radiators and other products undergo the correct pre-painting and post-painting treatments.
  • Conduct regular quality checks to ensure the final painted product meets the required standards.
  • Address and resolve any defects or issues with the painted surfaces.
  • Equipment Maintenance:
  • Ensure that all painting equipment (spray guns booths ovens etc. is maintained and cleaned properly.
  • Coordinate with maintenance staff to perform necessary repairs and preventive maintenance.
  • Inventory Management:
  • Monitor and manage the stock of paints chemicals and other materials used in the painting process.
  • Order materials when necessary ensuring that the painting process is never interrupted due to a shortage of supplies.
  • Safety and Compliance:
  • Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations related to painting operations.
  • Ensure that workers use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safe handling procedures for chemicals and paints.
  • Process Improvement:
  • Continuously review and improve the painting processes to enhance productivity reduce costs and improve quality.
  • Implement new technologies or techniques in the painting process as required.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain records of production volumes material usage and any quality issues.
  • Prepare and submit daily or weekly reports on production progress issues and any corrective actions taken.
Qualifications:
  • Educational Requirements:
  • A diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering Industrial Engineering or a related field is preferred.
  • Certification in painting technologies or safety (e.g. paint application chemical handling) is a plus.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in a similar role in the manufacturing or radiator industry.
  • Hands-on experience with different types of painting techniques (spray painting powder coating etc..
  • Proven leadership experience in managing a team in a production environment.
Skills and Competencies:
  • Technical Skills:
  • Strong understanding of painting techniques materials and equipment.
  • Knowledge of various surface preparation methods (e.g. sandblasting priming).
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues related to the painting process.
  • Leadership:
  • Ability to lead motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and other departments.
  • Problem-Solving:
  • Strong analytical skills to identify issues and develop solutions quickly.
  • Ability to make decisions under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances
