Job Description
Were seeking a reliable Order Picker to join our warehouse team in Allentown PA who can also serve as a back-up delivery driver using a sprinter van (on rare occasions). This is a 3rd shift role typically scheduled from 2:00 AM to 11:00 AM though start and end times may shift by an hour based on operational needs. A clean driving record and valid drivers license are required for the occasional driving duties.
Key Competencies & Duties:
- Accurately pick and pack orders using handheld scanners or printed pick sheets
- Verify product types quantities and freshness against order specs
- Work in cold storage environments (refrigerated/frozen)
- Ensure product quality proper labeling and food safety compliance (expiration dates packaging integrity)
- Assist in unloading deliveries stocking and rotating inventory
- Keep the warehouse clean and organized; follow GMP and HACCP standards
- Operate pallet jacks or other warehouse equipment safely (training provided)
- Flag any damaged goods shortages or safety concerns to supervisor
- Support general warehouse tasks including inventory counts or audit preparation
- Serve as a back-up sprinter van driver for local deliveries when needed
Qualifications :
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience in food warehouse or order picking roles strongly preferred
- Comfortable working in refrigerated environments
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
- Basic math reading and written communication skills
- Reliable team-oriented and flexible with shift times
- Forklift experience/certification a plus
- Prior experience using hand scanners preferred
