Te Whiwhinga mahi The opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Centre Cook/Chef to join our team at Te Ako o Te Tui Early Childhood Centre. The centre cook plays a vital part in what we do. We place huge importance in offering our children local fresh and tasty food options providing a healthy and balanced diet that fuels their learning growth and development. We have a Gold Healthy Heart Award.
We value someone who is passionate about providing quality healthy food options has great communication skills and can work efficiently & independently. You will work with our menu as well as our Centres policies Food Safety regulations and health and safety protocols.
Key tasks include but are not limited to:
This is a full-time (37.5 hours per week) permanent position.
Remuneration is $50700 - $61700 per annum depending on skills and experience.
This role is Monday to Friday with working hours approximately 9:00am to 4:00pm including a 30-minute lunch break. Youll have evenings and weekends free!
