What youd be doing in this role
As Canva scales change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think thats all part of the fun. So this will give you the flavour of the type of things youll be working on when you start but this will likely evolve.
At the moment this role is focused on:
Driving the strategy and roadmap of Canvas experimentation platform
Coaching and empowering a high-performing team of engineers
Collaborating across product and platform teams to ensure experimentation tools meet diverse needs
Elevating the company-wide experimentation maturity
Shaping the future of data-informed decision-making through experimentation
Exploring opportunities to integrate AI into experimentation and measurement
Youre probably a match if
Youre a hands-on technical leader with strong full-stack foundations
Youve built or led scalable web platforms and coached engineers to deliver with impact
You thrive in cross-functional collaboration and are excited by company-wide influence
You balance product thinking with engineering rigour clean code great UX and scalable systems
Youre passionate about enabling data-driven decisions and simplifying complex tooling
Youve got great communication chops and can make the complex feel simple
Bonus: Youve built experimentation or analytics platforms at scale
About the team
The Experiments Team sits within the Product Insights Enablement (PIE) group and plays a critical role in helping every product team at Canva make informed decisions. We provide tools and infrastructure to support A/B testing data-driven design and iterative delivery. Our mission is to empower Canvanauts to ship value with confidence by enabling trustworthy and scalable experimentation at every level.
