Audi Moncton has an opening for a Licensed Automotive Service Technician or Apprentice.

We are looking for someone who has a great attitude is dependable and has a passion for the automotive industry. We value individuals who take pride in their work show initiative are driven to be successful and enjoy being a part of a dynamic team.

Signing bonus: up to $5000 for Licensed Technicians (tiered payment for apprentices)

Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm.
During tire season Technicians work a rotational Saturdays from 9am to 1pm.

Responsibilities

  • Basic vehicle maintenance: tire rotations and oil changes diagnosing complex problems and planning and executing vehicle repairs
  • Isolate the systems or components that might have caused the problem
  • Drive the vehicle for testing purposes or using various equipment including hand-held and onboard compression gauges or diagnostic computers
  • Maintain efficiency and accuracy in diagnosing as well as repairing vehicles
  • Repair or replace worn parts ahead of the vehicles breakdown or damage
  • Licensed Technicians would also be required to work on more complex jobs such as engine and transmission work
Qualifications
  • Automotive service technician trade certification or part of an apprenticeship program
  • Must have a valid drivers license and a clean drivers abstract
  • Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team
  • High level of integrity and work ethic
  • Can effectively communicate automotive issues clearly
  • Can work independently managing his or her time and workflow
