Job Description
Location: Tucson 85714 Experience Required: 1 year in direct care
Were seeking compassionate reliable individuals to coach mentor and provide hands-on support to adults with developmental disabilities (e.g. autism cerebral palsy intellectual disabilities epilepsy) in a group home environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with daily living activities: bathing dressing toileting meals etc.
Support skill development and independence through structured activities
Prepare and serve meals assist with special diets
Perform light housekeeping and maintain a clean safe environment
Administer medications and provide basic health care
Follow each members Person-Centered Service Plan and behavioral supports
Engage members in recreational and community activities
Document progress and communicate with the care team
Attend team meetings and required trainings
Requirements
1 year of experience in direct care or similar setting
Ability to lift/push/pull at least 50 lbs
Flexibility to work nights weekends holidays and rotating shifts
Strong communication skills (verbal and written); sign language is a plus
Must be able to read and follow care plans and written instructions
Basic computer skills for documentation and training
Preferred Skills
Experience with personal care medication administration and therapeutic support
Familiarity with behavior support techniques and specialized meal plans
