Duties and responsibilities include;
- Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize revenue profitability and market share
- Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure sales goals are met
- Maintain and enhance customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional service at every stage of the sales process
- Address and resolve customer queries and concerns in a professional and timely manner
- Work closely with the dealership management team to ensure an optimal level of stock across the brand
- Oversee vehicle ordering and ensure the right mix of new and used cars is available
- Collaborate with the marketing team to design and execute promotions and events that drive showroom traffic and increase sales
- Represent the dealership at industry and community events to build brand awareness.
- Ensure all sales activities comply with industry regulations and internal policies
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of automotive products market trends and relevant legislation
Skills and experience;
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive sales with at least 2 years in a management role
- Experience in multi-franchise dealerships is a strong advantage
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with customers team members and brand partners
- Proven ability to develop and implement successful sales strategies
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and make informed decisions
- In-depth understanding of the automotive industry including vehicle sales processes and trends
- Knowledge of financing and insurance products is advantageous.
- Full clean driving license.
- Relevant qualifications in business sales or a related field are desirable but not essential
