Job Description

As an Engineering Co-op in the Product Development Department of Continental ContiTech in Lincoln NE you will play a crucial role in supporting the design testing and optimization of innovative power transmission belt solutions. Your responsibilities will include assisting with prototype development conducting performance analysis and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and performance. This hands-on experience will provide you with valuable insights into the manufacturing process materials science and engineering principles. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented eager to learn and possess strong problem-solving skills.

Job Duties

  • Testing and analysis of power transmission belts (strength adhesion durability etc.)
  • Data analysis
  • Specific projects to support Product Development team as required

Qualifications :

REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE / SKILLS:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelors degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
  • Minimum of 1.5 years remaining in undergraduate studies
  • Must be authorized to work in the US without restriction


Additional Information :

  • Flexible work schedule to work around school schedule
  • Ability to flex up to 40 hours per week when school is not in session.
