Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Administrator to join our team on a full-time on-site basis. The Systems Administrator will be responsible for maintaining and upgrading our companys technology infrastructure ensuring its smooth operation and security. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT systems administration with a focus on network and server management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the companys network and server infrastructure including hardware software and operating systems.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise ensuring minimal downtime.
- Implement and maintain security protocols to protect the companys data and systems.
- Install and configure new hardware and software as needed.
- Perform regular backups and disaster recovery procedures.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to develop and implement new technology solutions.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology making recommendations for improvements to our systems and processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT systems administration.
- Strong knowledge of network and server management including LAN/WAN DNS DHCP and Active Directory.
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
- Familiarity with cloud computing and storage solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
