Flexion Inc. a Madison WI based IT Consulting and Services firm is looking for a Technical Writer to work on a long-term consulting project. The client for this position is based in Madison WI. This will primarily be a remote position but the selected candidate is required to work from the State of Wisconsin.
The Technical Writer will be responsible for understanding creating and maintaining all user-facing documentation training materials and general communications for the specific applications and other efforts. The position will communicate and disseminate complex and technical information more easily to customers. Duties will include creating and maintaining end user documentation training materials and writing mass and targeted communications.
Required skills and experience:
- At least two years of technical writing work experience experience includes writing about technical software systems
- Experience with a webpage content management system Drupal preferred
- Experience performing external communications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
The salary range for this position is in the $19-20/hr range. This position does include a full benefit package.
