The Role:

M&G Trustee Company Limited (MTCL) offers a wide range of Trustee and Agency services in the capital markets space. No investment related activity is carried out. The Finance and Onboarding Team is responsible for managing the set up onboarding and administration of new transactions where MTCL acts in different trustee and agency capacities the ongoing maintenance and recording of the relevant finance covenants as well as the movement of funds in and out of the MTCL accounts. The team is also responsible for ensuring the efficient and consistent application of fees invoice processing reconciliation of associated payments as well as keeping the compliance database up to date.

The Onboarding Administrator will be responsible for the onboarding and administration of new transactions tracking the various elements of new business to ensure prompt and efficient completion of the Know Your Customer (KYC) process along with other associated onboarding activities. The Onboarding Administrator will also assist in maintaining accurate records of the pipeline and closed deals the administration of payments issues review and reconciliation of invoices and maintaining the compliance database.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in onboarding new deals through the collection input and completion of the information required to promptly and efficiently complete the Know Your Customer (KYC) process for new transactions and other associated onboarding activities (i.e. opening of accounts as required obtaining signed fee letters etc.)
  • Input and maintenance of updated information on pipeline live and closed deals within the relevant systems
  • Assisting with the accurate and timely recording/tracking of invoicing new/ongoing business associated legal fees and reconciling the relevant payments/outstanding debtors (plus associated chasers as appropriate)
  • Completion of administrative tasks following up on the closing of deals setting up new deals in the system and the ongoing monitoring of compliance items received from the Issuer/Borrowers due in respect of their financial covenants (and associated chasers as appropriate)
  • Provide administrative and onboarding support to Italian
  • Assisting in opening and managing the Trustee accounts at transaction and principal level including sending payment notices (where required) plus setting up and managing payments
  • Ad hoc administration tasks for the team as required

Key Knowledge Skills & Experience:

  • Good numerical and Excel skills
  • Fluency in Italian would be highly beneficial for supporting our Italian business
  • Structured approach to work & ability to prioritise to meet deadlines and to manage high volumes
  • A high level of accuracy and strong attention to detail
  • Excellent organisational & time management skills
  • Have a good level of written & verbal communication
  • The ideal candidate will have a proactive attitude and demonstrate initiative to add value to the business
  • Able to work in a team and escalate issues promptly
  • No requirement for previous trustee experience but previous experience in managing similar activities is desirable
  • Desirable understanding of Salesforce Oracle and/or Revport and/or HSBCnet systems albeit not essential to be considered for the role training will be provided
