Job Description
Job Title: IT Operations Intern
Location: San Diego CA
Duration: May 20 July 31st 2025
Type: Internship (Full-Time / Part-Time)

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with inventory management and tracking of IT assets.
- Support computer build-out processes including imaging configuration and deployment.
- Help with physical deliveries and installation of hardware across city departments.
- Update and maintain the Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
- Collaborate with the IT team on daily operational and logistical tasks.
- Perform routine checks on equipment and assist with hardware troubleshooting.
- Ensure accurate documentation of asset movements and updates.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware and operating systems (Windows/Mac).
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to lift and move IT equipment (e.g. desktops monitors).
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Self-motivated and eager to learn.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with asset management or ticketing systems.
- Experience with CMDB tools or platforms (e.g. ServiceNow) is a plus.
- Valid drivers license (if role involves deliveries).
