Pantheon Data (a Kenific Holding company) is a private small business based in the Washington DC area. Pantheon Data was founded in 2011 initially providing acquisition and supply chain management services to the US Coast Guard. Our service offerings have grown in the past ten years including infrastructure resiliency contact center operations information technology software engineering program management strategic communications engineering and cybersecurity. We have also grown our customer base to include commercial clients. The company has used this experience to expand our service offerings to other agencies within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) the Department of Defense (DoD) and other Federal Civilian Agencies.
Position Overview
Pantheon Data has a need for a Marine Electronics Engineer - Journeyman to support a major surface acquisition program for the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG). The selected candidate will work as part of a dynamic cross-functional team to support the design and development of Coast Guard ships and boats.
Responsibilities
- Design develop test and supervise the implementation of electronic equipment for shipboard use.
- Conduct analyses on centralized machinery control systems interior & exterior communications sensors alarms navigation combat fire control and other C5ISR related systems.
- Analyze and mitigate cybersecurity risks for installed systems and networks.
- Knowledge of remote sensing sensor processing and information processing for electronics components and systems. Develop system documentation and ship specifications.
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum of least 3 years documented experience developing and integrating machinery control systems electrical power management auxiliary machinery control and propulsion control.
- Meets Required DoD IAT Level II Baseline Certification Requirements.
- Ability to work effectively remotely in cross-functional teams.
- Ability to meet deadlines and produce quality work.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite software including Outlook Word Excel SharePoint and PowerPoint.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Previous experience with shipboard and defense C5I systems preferred.
Education
Bachelor of Science or Master of Science in a Technical Engineering or Marine field.
Clearance Requirements
U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
Work Location: Hybrid - two (2) days a week at USCG HQ (DHS St. Elizabeths Campus in D.C.)

Compensation
The salary range for this position is $90000 - $100000. This is not however a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather salary will be set based on experience geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
