Amazons Professional Services team within an exciting confidential new business is hiring for its first Australia based Solutions Architect specializing in Procure to Pay solutions for new customers. As one of the foundational hires for this new team in Australia you will play an integral role in establishing our customer engagement model and service offerings.
In this role your focus will be understanding our Customers procure to pay (P2P) systems and processes and developing solutions that make it easier to buy on Amazon. You and your team will establish technical and functional credibility in the sales cycles and prescribe guidance for procurement processes and system design via direct customer/partner interaction. This role works closely with the Sales Implementation Product and Tech teams.
Key job responsibilities
This role leads multiple concurrent projects that vary in size and scope. This role is accountable for:
- Leading deep discovery conversations with customers to understand their business and purchasing processes and designing the AB solution based on customers technical requirements and goals.
- Overseeing the execution of the solution (including technical setup testing change management solution adoption) and delivery quality to be sure we deliver on our high bar customer commitments.
- Effectively communicating proposed solutions project updates and risks to both customers and Amazon.
- Driving and accelerating spend adoption through change management activities and advising customers on best practices for using Amazons procurement solutions.
- Working with cross-functional teams including sales product tech and marketing to scale solutions that will increase customer adoption and up level ABs offering.
- Experience translating customers procurement needs into business requirements and implementing solutions
- 5 years of solution consulting or SaaS implementation experience.
- Experience positioning and selling innovative solutions to new and existing customers and market segments.
- Experience with project management using sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software.
- Bachelors degree or equivalent.
- Experience influencing at all levels within Large Enterprise organizations including the executive level.
- 5 years of ERP eProcurement or AP Automation experience.
- Experience with and working knowledge of Coupa SAP and Ariba systems.
- Knowledge of procurement and source to pay processes and solutions or equivalent experience.
