Tasks
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum standards for social studies.
- Facilitate classroom discussions and activities to enhance students critical thinking and understanding of historical geographical and cultural concepts.
- Assess and evaluate student progress through assignments projects and examinations providing timely feedback to support their academic growth.
- Incorporate a variety of teaching methods and resources including technology to accommodate diverse learning styles and promote an inclusive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices and integrate new strategies into the classroom.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Education History Geography or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in Social Studies at the primary or secondary level.
- Strong understanding of curriculum standards and educational best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective classroom management and collaboration with colleagues.
- Ability to integrate technology into the classroom to enhance learning experiences.
