The Big Data Engineer plays a crucial role in leveraging massive datasets to drive business advancements. Tasked with designing implementing and maintaining the architecture that allows for the processing and storage of valuable data this individual ensures that data flows efficiently and seamlessly through the organizations systems. As a part of the data engineering team the Big Data Engineer collaborates closely with data scientists analysts and IT professionals to transform raw data into actionable insights.
In todays data-driven landscape the importance of a Big Data Engineer cannot be overstated. They are key in implementing data strategies improving data quality and enabling data-driven decision-making within the organization. Key Responsibilities
Specialize in Big Data systems and ensure high-quality deliverables
Develop and enhance internal & third-party system components
Operate monitor and resolve issues in compute platforms (Windows Linux Cloud Virtualization)
Work with databases (Oracle SQL NoSQL) and DevOps tools
Collaborate with engineering teams stakeholders & business teams
Stay updated on new technologies and implement changes successfully
Skills Required:
Big Data Systems expertise
Strong knowledge of Cloud DevOps Scripting Version Control
Experience with Agile methodologies
Solid understanding of networking OS and database management
Strong stakeholder management & collaboration skills
