As our Operations Manager you will be managing a team of consultants responsible for the development of advisory projects for major electricity sector agents including distribution transmission retailer generators in helping them deal with regulatory economic and electricity challenges. How youll make an impact:
You will lead a team of consultants and ensure that the team is adequately resourced developed and equipped to meet business needs.
You will define operating guidelines for the team and facilitate problem solving.
You will drive the team performance to ensure that deliverables are met on time as per contract safety and quality requirements.
You will support the unit building customer relationships applying advanced technologies and contributing to business development sales and process improvements based on customer feedback.
You will ensure completion of risk assessments (e.g. contract review) and opportunity assessments (e.g. business growth) and implementation of resulting actions across projects.
You will be participating in defining the annual budget and are accountable for managing performance against agreed financial targets and constraints.
Your background:
As a successful candidate you have a masters degree in electrical engineering electrical power systems or similar.
You have at least a couple of years of experience in the consulting or energy branch.
Significant Experience in Energy/Utility Sector
You have some years of experience as people manager.
Knowledge in power systems analysis as well as experience in software simulation tools such as PSS/E PSCAD and/or DIgSILENT Power Factory.
As a person you have excellent influencing leadership and communication skills.
It is necessary to be fluent in English and Swedish both written and spoken alike.
Proven experience in creating opportunities in the markets (orders capture) is a merit.
