The Role
We are seeking an experienced and professional Medical Receptionist to join our dedicated team at our Caloundra Cancer Centre on a casual basis.
We are looking for availability for a few days a week approximately 32 hours per fortnight with support for covering sick leave or annual leave.
As a Medical Receptionist you will play a key role in assisting in the smooth day-to-day operations of our clinic you will be responsible for:
- Warmly greeting and assisting patients
- Scheduling appointments and pro-actively coordinating the appointment book
- Accurate data entry of patient information
- Processing payments
- Managing phone and email queries
- Assisting in tidying up consult rooms
- General administration duties as required
Qualifications & Attributes
- Previous experience in an administrative/reception role within the Healthcare industry or similar is essential
- Previous experience with medical practice software such as Best Practice will be highly regarded
- Customer-focused with a commitment to patient care
- A strong team player who contributes to a positive work culture
- Approachable reliable and dependable
- Excellent communication skills professional presentation and positivecan-do attitude
- Sensitive in your approach when dealing with patients
- Authorised to work in Australia
