Job Description

A leading pharmaceutical client is seeking an experiencedFreelance Market Researcherto support in a short-term engagement focused onextrapulmonary neuroendocrine carcinoma (epNEC). The objective is to estimate thefirst-line (1L) and second-line (2L)treatment-eligible patient population inAustralia and South Koreausing validatedsecondary dataand epidemiological modeling techniques.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct secondary research to estimate the epNEC patient population eligible for treatment in 1L and 2L settings.
  • Build a data-driven patient funnel model that progresses from incidence to diagnosis and treatment tailored to each target market.
  • Triangulate data from multiple sources (e.g. Clarivate SEER GLOBOCAN PubMed national health agencies).
  • Benchmark estimates using comparable markets to validate findings.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Previous experience in epidemiology market access or healthcare market research.
  • Proven background in oncology rare diseases or biopharma forecasting.
  • Expertise in patient population modelling and secondary research.
  • Familiarity with the healthcare landscape in Australia and South Korea is strongly preferred.
  • Strong Excel modelling and data validation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
