An award-winning mid-sized sports content agency is looking for a Business Unit Director to lead one of their core client portfolios. Their work spans TV platforms stadiums and social feeds - wherever fans are paying attention. Think creative campaigns sharp storytelling and cultural impact.
What the job involves..

Leading the creative output across your business unit

Overseeing strategy scripting shooting editing post and delivery

Being the primary client contact from pitch to delivery

Driving growth within the client account
-
Managing a high-performing internal team

Owning the budget forecast and monthly financial tracking
-
Ensuring delivery quality and deadlines are met

Identifying new opportunities and converting them into revenue
-
Mentoring onboarding and developing talent
-
Participating in leadership-level decision making
What you need to be considered..
- 10 years in content creative media or sport industries
- Must have some sports industry experience at least
-
Strong financial instincts and experience managing budgets or P&Ls

Track record of leading teams and owning client relationships
-
Deep knowledge of creative production and timelines
-
Entrepreneurial mindset you ve either built something or owned a portfolio
-
Strong communication skills confident in pitches and client presentations

A real love of sport this one s non-negotiable

Resilience curiosity and a hunger to grow
Bonus points if you..

Have consulting or strategy background (e.g. ex-McKinsey Bain)

Bring experience from agencies networks brands or consultancies
-
Are already using AI tools and interested in content-tech intersections
-
Are naturally opportunity-led able to package and price new ideas
